Well after 14 days and 6578miles, me Dad and Blackie the Wonderbeater(Super Daily Driver/ Show Winner/ Auto-Crosser/ Cross Country Roadtripper) made it home safe and sound last night. Here are the facts:

Fuel used: 232.38 gallons, $643.13

cheapest gas, $2.399, Joplin, MO. most expensive, $3.289, Malta, ID

Worst gas, Salt Lake city, UT. Don't EVER!!! buy gas in UT. Two years in a row I've had running problems with gas bought near SLC.

Mileage, worst...22mpg in TX & CO. We were having fun!!!! Best, 32.15 in OR. I was driving like a Nana. Average was about 27mpg.

Longest Day, 840 miles, Boise, ID to Denver, CO

Best Hotel...Holiday Inn, Richmond, KY. Thanks Eric!!!

Best Food, Broadway Burger Bar. Rock Springs, WY

Most Picturesque, Wyoming

Best Roads, Hwy 287, TX

Worst, I-59, AL

Highlights, THE REUNION (duh!!), Barber Motorsports Park, visiting SVPU, visiting Kendal Coker, Peublo Air Museum, crusing with the West Coast crew and just seeing more of the country.
