can i use SVO axles in a turbo coupe 8.8 rear end that had 4 lug axles my cousin told me that the SVO axles were a tad longer and that they wouldn't work so i said hey I'll trust the experts over my cousin any day even if he is a PRO 5.0 racer. so what do you say guys is he right or wrong i hope hes wrong so i can rub it in his face and tell him to stick to his v8 and leave the 2.3 alone.

and can i use the rear calipers off this rearend it owuld be cool if i could

    thanks

You can use the 8.8 with the SVO axels. You have to transfer your brake parts to the housing and find/make a bracket to mount the center brake hose to the pumpkin.

If you search, you can find post with swap out step by step.

Do a search for "8.8 swap commences" and that will answer your questions. I did this swap and took several pictures during the process. The 7.5 axles are longer than the 8.8, but the swap is straight forward. Hope this helps.
