  • Bi Wing Supports

Just for the record I was looking in product reviews and saw the Bi Wing support comments. I made two for my car because the wing had broke! I tried to have it welded but my body man said he could not find out what it is made of. Bottom line is I took clear plexiglass and made pads for the glass then drilled two holes through into an other peice 90` on center, installing self tapping screws. Then I whitled away at the top till it fit the bottom of the wing! Being clear it looks good and supports the broken wing just fine! All I did to keep it there was silicon to the window and they have stayed just fine!

send it to me... I'll re-size it..

if you check the FAQ, there is a thread specifically about images, and resizing them. there is also a link to a program that will resize pictures very easily, and in that same post, it also tells you the pixel sizes you should use to keep things sane...

        here is the pic --

        ALSO --

I move this to the interior/body forum -- as it has good info in it, and the lounge area gets purged of old posts... the tech areas do not.

The screw holes did not need to be that deep( would have looked better) but it was spring and I rushed a little! Still looks OK though. The camera made them highlighted, but in regular light they go almost unoticed.
