  • Nos front bumper cover

Ok this is a 2 part question

    1. I have a new oem front bumper cover that I've had since about '90
It's kind of deformed not bad though I had it hanging up so it wouldn't go totaly flat. Has anbody had the experience of installing one that it doesn't look right after you install it or will it take its shape once its installed?
    2. I know there are repros available and my car is far from original (different tranny, rearend, modified motor, interior not so ok) so what I thought was there might be some people in evilbay land that might still pay a good dollar for an oem part so they can keep their cars 100% original and I would have the money to buy a repro and some left over to help with the paint. I don't want to be one of those people that gouge people but I haven't seen an nos bumper cover for sale in a long time. I'm sure the availability of the repros will have a determing factor on the price I could fetch.
    Thanks
    Rick

I think you have waited to long to part with it. The reproductions are made with the OEM molds, so it will be the same as yours. You might find a fanatic out there that will pay for NOS stuff, but just remember that there is the alternative when considering your price. I would post it on SVO sites first, then try at ebay.

    Just my 2 cents.
