Hey guys I need to get a new clutch before I can get my car back together. I was looking at the spec stage 3+. I don't know if that will be enough. I really have no Idea how much Power or torque I will be putting out. This is my set up so far.

    Boport Aluminum D port head
    Boport 2.5 Cam
    Boport Ported intake setup
    40BOB log exhaust manifold
A precison turbo running at about 20PSI
    Walbro 255 fuel pump
    Mega squirt running everthing
    3" down pipe

Hopefully someone can help me out with this. Thanks guys

With all the Boport equipment onboard, have you asked Bo this question?

I just ordered the centerforce dual friction kit. I have bad luck with spec on other cars I have had.

stage 3+ has handled everything ive thrown at it with the ranger roller, and the 1.9 @ 10psi; now that im running the 1.9 @ 17psi (38LB/min airflow, not dyno'd yet), its starting to get ornery. with that setup, id give even the 3+ pause. ++ on calling bo.

ripped through a stage 1 and a stage 2 disc in less then 10k miles each with less then 250hp. the stage 3 has about 7k on it, but i haven't pulled it to inspect in a while. the stage 2 i had pulled when i did a gearbox swap, was showing no issues, but was right at the wear limit tolerances...

Thanx Nathan, that is the one I thought it would be and I'm gonna go with that instead of the spec 2+. I don't like the Spec much that I have in there now and the break-in for it was horrible. How is the pedal pressure ?

Pedal feel and engagement is neer stock. I had a spec 2 in my thunderbird Sc and hated the hard pedal and rough/noisy engagement. The breakin is 500mi of city driving on the centerforce.

I will have to look and see if I still have it around. I got the pilot and throwout bearings from CarQuest or NAPA, Don't remember right now.
