Headliner started sagging in the back, then the AC belt broke, the young lady I was with insisted we roll down the window, and now the headliner sags from the back of the sunroof on back. Well, not sag, just hangs down from the sunroof back.
The grey material still has a little of the yellow "foam looking" stuff on it, there is most of the yellow "foam looking" stuff on the roof - or on the cardboard, whatever of the headliner.
I was looking at 3M's headliner adhesive. They have one for heavy headliners, and one for light headliners. I'm guessing I want the light adhesive?
I'm figuring pulling the trim, and using the adhesive to do a temporary fix. Can I do a resonable repair job with just patience and desire, or is this something that takes practice to fix right?
Besides sagging, headliner is in great shape. I don't really have the money to have a profesional do a new headliner, if that's even an option.
Thoughts? Hints?
Thanks in advance
James
