Seat question, sounds crazy, but hear me out..Supercoupe seats in an SVO?

I just stepped out of my 89 Thunderbird SC into my 85 SVO. The seats need to be re-done, but, in the mean time, I was wondering had done or though about doing a Supercoupe (89-95) seat swap into an SVO? They are very comfortable seats. I know the SC seat rails probably won't fit, but maybe they can be modified to work? If not, how about putting the rails from the SVO seats on the SC seats? I know the power goodies won't work...

Just kind of a random thought. Any takers?

I think that is the Only interior his SVO has.... I am pretty sure it was just the driver seat the last time I saw it. Weight Reduction! The seat did look Comfy though!

Not sure. The SC seat frame may have holes you could line up with the tracks from the SVO. The track is most likely totally different as the 'Bird is a different chassis in the SC's than the Foxes.

those seats will fit i put a set in my 93 hatch i swapped out the rails to loose the electric adjust b/c it was too heavy for my liking.
