Has any-one used the Hooker Turbo Aero-Chamber muffs yet? -(they might be new).....I was doing some reading and liked the design; internals.....Who knows-they might sound like crap. My '86 is running now and will be stopping by the exhaust shop here soon...
Glad to see ya got her runnin'! Havent heard anything a/b the Hooker Aero muffler but Hooker's exhuast for motorcycles sounds really good , atleast on HD's, so if thats any indication they might be worth lookin' into? ...talk at ya later.
Hey Jay! I ordered the muffs/ Going to try something different than the DynoMax route/ Only money......Turns out my speed shop tells me that the Hooks have been out for about eight years/ they had a cutout on their wall/ I liked the design....
they are on the 9L....stock engine....quiet/nice tone down low/can hear stock turbo a little.....good cruising tone/not loud.....full throttle behind? dont know......solid construction tho....I did cut the outlets for bigger exhaust pipes----------

I do drive this car on the interstate some, and while I like the performance, I'd prefer to be able to hear my cell-phone ring when driving.
Will the aero's do that? Cause they are cheaper than the spintecs, that's for sure.
These will be hooking to my 2.5" Y pipe, and what's left of the 2.5 inch mac cat-back
I have the hooker max flow on my svo,my ranger has one aero chamber,my 1970 torino I had, that had about 450hp had the aero chambers on it sounded great on that thing.Great muffler, by the performance gains when it came out made more power than any other muffler the max flow's, aero chambers were right behind them.If I didn't have hooker I would have the new style flowmaster great construction on both,and they would last a long time not like the other thin metal design's
