SVO lower Rocker molding

The lower rocker molding on my svo is bent some.It pops off at few clips at times.Did the same part come on any other mustang.The part under the doors. Similar to what is on the old 65 -68 mustangs.

I believe it was used on some 79 models but it was longer and anodized aluminum (chrome look). Unfortunately those are probably harder to find and would require cutting off the last 6 inches or so. Have you tried to see if a trim restoration place would straighten it. Places specialize in this for stainless steel and aluminum trim. Painting is all that would be left.
