A riend of mine has informed me that some members are running stock wheels that have been chromed. I would lik to pursue the chroming of my wheels but cannot find out information in regard to who does them and at what cost. Would appreciate any information someone could give me.
Thanks,
Gary Schweikert TBIRD8787@aol.com
I havent seen chromed rims but I have seen some highly polished rims. I would call wheel works from the members deals section. I have a pair of rims they restored for me and they are mint.
The car is used mainly for show. It sees very little driving time except to and from shows. Heat wouldn't be a problem in this situation. What I am trying to eliminate is that nasty brake dust that is hard to remove. With the chrome it would be a lot easier to get rid of since the surface would be smoother.
Thanks,
Gary Schweikert
I am actually in the process of getting mine chromed out. Theres a place here in Phoenix that does plating as well as where you live i suppose. I will get some pics up as soon as i get em back, IM SOOOO EXCITED!
