OK, I'M STUMPED. ABOUT A MONTH AGO WHEN I PULLED MY CAR OUT OF STORAGE I NOTICED THAT MY CAR WAS SITTING CROOKED ( RIGHT REAR IS 1" HIGHER AND RIGHT FRONT IS ABOUT 1/4" HIGHER ). IT LOOKS AS IF A FAT PERSON IS SITTING IN THE D/S REAR. I INSTALLED NEW KONIS AND THAT ONLY MADE THINGS WORSE. I FIGURED MAYBE I HAD A BROKEN SPRING, SO I REPLACED THE SPRINGS AND STILL NO DIFFERENCE. I LOOKED BACK AT PICTURES I HAD TAKEN BEFORE THE RESTORATION WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT THE CAR AND IT WAS SITTING LEVEL. I LOOKED AT PICTURES BEFORE I HAD GLOBAL WEST FRAME SUPPORTS INSTALLED AND IT SAT LEVEL. I HAD THESE INSTALLED LATE IN THE YEAR SO I DIDN'T NOTICE HOW THE CAR SAT AFTER INSTALLATION. I'M GUESSING THAT THE FRAME SUPPORTS WERE INSTALLED WITH THE CAR NOT BEING LEVEL. THEY WERE INSTALLED ON A LIFT TYPE HOIST, NOT A DRIVE ON HOIST. I HAD THE CAR AT MY FREIND'S ( FORD ) BODY SHOP TODAY, AND HE SAID THAT EVERYTHING IS OUT BY THE SAME MEASUREMENT, FROM THE BUMPER TO THE GAS TANK. HE WANTS THE CAR BACK ON MONDAY TO GIVE IT A " TWEEK " ON THE FRAME MACHINE. I TOLD HIM THAT I DON'T LIKE THE SOUND OF " TWEEKING " MY CAR AFTER MY $14,000 RESTO SO HE SUGGESTED CUTTING OFF THE FRAME SUPPORTS ( WHICH HE SUSPECTS TO BE THE PROBLEM ) AND SEE IF THE CAR STRAIGHTENS ITSELF, AND THEN REWELD THEM. I LIKE THE SECOND PLAN BETTER. ANY INFO, ESPECIALLY FROM PAUL AT SVPU ( WHERE I BOUGHT THE SUPPORTS AND KONIS ) WOULD BE APPRECIATED, ESPECIALLY BEFORE MONDAY. I CAN SEND PICS IF THAT HELPS.
