rocker panel trim

hello all, I'm new to this web site and the new proud owner of a 86 svo as of 2 weeks ago and i got simple question I hope and I tried searching for it but couldn't find it. Is the trim piece thats on the rocker panel still available ? if so where can i get it ford dealer or a resto place. i know there is alot of stuff that is obsolete ant help will be great thanks.

to my knowledge .. it's obsolete. try posting a want ad in the classifieds or look thorugh your local junkyard. Condition isnt a big factor - as long as it's NOT bent. They can be stripped and repainted quite easily.

84 Mustang LX's used a similar rocker trim panel that should work on the SVO. You will have to respray it gray for the 86 SVO. Shouldn't be too hard to find some of those in the yards.
