  • Which Performance Springs Work Best?

I'M GETTING READY TO ORDER SOME NEW SPRINGS FOR MY CAR. THE CAR IS DRIVEN ALMOST DAILY SO I WANT SOMETHING THAT LOWERS THE CAR ABOUT 1" AND ISN'T TOO STIFF. ANY INPUT APPRECIATED.
    THANKS

I have the Motorsport B's on my 84 svo. They lowered the front about 3/4 " not really any in the rear maybe 1/4".I have not measured it after driving like the paper said to do.
I like the ride i can tell a difference and i like the look.
Here is a picture of my svo next to a stock height 84 GT turbo

I'd second the Motorsport Bs for what you're wanting ..

I got a ride in GAboySVO's 86 SVO last week. I believe that he had the Motorsport B's in his too. The ride wasn't too harsh, The tires didn't rub, and the car was notably lowered compared to stock ride height.

          Pat,

Just to set the record straight, I've got the Eibach Pros on mine. They were installed in '97. So I don't know if they compare directly with the Eibach Pro kit today.

I do use my car for a daily driver, but the Pros can be a little rough on the kidneys on the rough 405. On good black top, it is not a bad ride. Choppy concrete highways and bridge underpasses here in Cali can be a bit bothersome. However, I do have my front Konis set at about 2/3rds and my rear yellows set about half way. That adds to the stiffness of the ride.

There is another spring thread where a guy called Eibach and got the current spring rates for the Pros, so I don't know if the current ratings are the same as mine.
