  • Bumper Cover Repair

Hey all, I was looking for parts for my arc welder and came across urethane repair for bumper covers... www.urethane supply.com. I was thinkin about maybe giving this a try on my bumper cover. I found the kit elsewhere for $125... The site has a whole "how to" on plastic repair... Check it out.

For minor repairs less than 1/8" deep, I've used "adhesion promoter" from autozone, then two part body glaze. My friend is a bodyman and recommended this to me.

For deeper scratches, or the crustyness that happens on rear bumpers, I just clean it out with a dremel, then use overnight or 5-minute 2 part epoxy. I think permatex makes it, And it's cheap.
