    Guys, what think ye:
The '84 SVO runs great, everything is excellent about it. But while it's sitting there idleing it misses. The rpm is steady, no surging, right at about 900 rpm or so, but it misses.
Everything is new and Motorcraft. Plugs, wires, cap, button, belt, no vacuum probs and no codes.
Any seen this? Any ideas of what I could check?

first 2 things that come to mind are

make sure tps is set to .95 volts

make sure the idle air bypass is clean, and not sticky.

      Thank you,

      Familiar with the TPS check.

but not the idle air bypass cleaning. Can you run me through it? *I don't even know where that is...

that is the round thing that you always wack your hand on when putting the intercooler on. .

it is very close to the tps, , and it is round. It has a connection on it that is close to the intercooler.

pust pop it off (2 screws) and clean it real good with carb cleaner or something.. these things are notirous for sticking..

if you need a better desc, I can prob. find you a pic.
