Got a buddy driving up w/ me to enjoy the reunion. He's my 3rd and 4th hand on my turbocars when I'm removing/installing engines, heads, trannies, etc.
Can he register for the autox to drive a few runs of his own in my car?
But - if this is who I think it is .. a word of warning: he better be on his best behavior. I'll have no reservations about having him escorted off the property by some of the local authorities.
hee hee. My very own little private laugh for the day - totally unaticipated.
No Bud, it's not Crovax. I wouldn't do that to you. I wouldn't put you in that position in the first place. Why bring someone you disdain to the very shindig you've put together.
Please think more highly of me.
This is a local buddy of mine. Like I said, just coming along for the fun, likes to help me wrench on the cars ~ drives a Chevy Truck, but it's a clean 'ol '91 Z71 w/ 250k, so it's cool. He doesn't know a stranger and liked by everyone.
Would you like him to send in a registration and check now, or on site after you know how many SVO owner/attendees are participating?
Just wanted to make sure... and set the ground rules early.
Just have your buddy send in his money pre-registered and I'll show him as a 'shared' particpant with you at the autox. It's a pretty common thing at most SCCA events - so it's no biggy. I'll see how things are .. may have you run in the same session or may split you two up.
Just make sure he includes a note for me with the entry. Thanks
