Putting on new pads and the anti rattle clips were gone-explains why they rattle so bad. But seeing as I never saw them instralled I am having a hard time! Does anyone have a pic of them installed? My hanes manual is not giving me a installed pic and the only way that they seem to fit they don't stay.--HELP!
Bruce
Go down to the post made on 8-28, there's a 'drawing' that may help you. It's a view from the rear of the car looking forward.
The clips won't stay put if you just try to 'place' them on the bracket, I found it helps to follow this order when installing.
>Place clip on bracket, hold in place
>slide inner brake pad onto bracket
>install rotor (hold in place with lug nut)
>push down on clip and install outer brake pad
> slide caliper into place over pads/rotor
>attach top pin
>attach bottom pin
Read some of the detail in the above post since I found aftermarket clips different then Ford clips.
