Can front control arms be purchased new, what about ball joints and bushnings. I know the svo shared these with the lincoln or did they.

yes.. they did share these with the Lincoln..

but the control arms are obsolete, and the ball joint is not replaceable, you must replace the entire control arm

Presenetly, your only solution is either NOS parts, which are expen$ive and hard to find, and a good set of take-offs. There is someone presently working on an aftermarket control arm with polyurethane bushings and a replcable ball joints. I am on the initial group purchase, and I will post to this forum when I receive mine. I believe the price is going to be in the $450/pr. range. The build order when in around the first week of May, and we were told it should take about six weeks to complete the order.

        Front Control Arms

Gene, Your six weeks has turned into a year. I too, am in on this purchase. I just got a look at these arms and I must say THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! I can hardly wait to get them - they appear to be way worth the wait!

If you're feeling lucky, Go try to find arms off of the '82 Lincoln Continental. Those are the ones I used when I replaced the front bushings with urethane ones. Worked perfect.
