  • Roll Bar?

Who makes a nice 2 point roll bar for the mustangs? Thanks.

2 point? dunno .. but check with Maximum Motorsports and see if they sell just a 2 point.

Personally .. I wouldn't bother for anything less than a 4 point. A 6 point will really tie things together on a street/track car.

You are wasting your time with a 2-point. Might as well use those monkeybars the posers use. :-)

Autopower makes nice kits for the Mustang, both bolt-in and weld-in. Kirk Racing also has some nice bars. Like Bud said, a 6-point would really stiffen things up, but for a daily-driver, a 4-point is probably easier to get into and out of. Just remember to get another set of rear inside trim panels to cut up so you don't mess up the factory units.

I am looking at the autopower unit, for the '67 and the track '86.
there is a removable cross-bar you can get (welding of the tabs is required). which is PERFECT for a harness for track days.

I have an Autopower 6 point in my LX Frankenstein and it really made a difference. It has removable front legs so you can put them in when you go to the track. I have a trick that I learned for cutting the holes in the interior panels. If anybody is interested I can post it...
