I spent this last weekend replacing all of hoses on my 84 and converting it to watercooled turbo and I think the radiator is going south. What radiator do you all recommend?
Would the FRPP alum be an over kill? Its a Texas car and it gets hot here. Additionally where can I get the best price?
Thanks
my application is not the same one you would need, but you can peruse the website or call them for what you need. My application is to fit between the Intercooler intake/exits on my front mount Volvo in my '88 LX. The fab work was top notch. It was only $189.
I recenly intalled a Ford Racing "Cobra" radiator in my car. It was not overly complicated and the stock fan still fits. As for performance, I ain't got very many miles on it yet.
My opinion is that there can't be that much difference in radiators...Just stick with a good name brand..
After I took my stock radiator to the radiator shop to be cleaned, they pulled it from the bath, and there wasn't enough left to fix.
I found a used 3-row McCarran radiator (was less than a year old) from the classifieds here. It dont have a lot of miles on it yet, but it seems to be working very well. Fit is perfect, other than it is a bit heavier than stock, it you can't really tell it isn't original.

Was the radiator for a 93 Cobra, and was is a good fit?
Thanks

Nope. It is a 95 Cobra "R" radiator with one of the endtanks modified to fit in a FOX Mustang. You will have to modify the uppwr and lower radiator brackets, but nothing that is serous or noticable. The part number is M-8005-C.
