Headlight mounting panel - Thanks SVPU
All,
Just to let you know, I finally got around to putting this on my car - ordered last spring from Paul at SVPU. My original came out in 11 pieces, which doesn't include the pieces laying in the parking lot where the car was hit.
The fit and finish are practically flawless. It was much easier to do than I thought it would be. This is a quality product.
I had one question, the top metal tabs that hold the inner marker lights were too long, by about 1/4". It is possible that the radiator support is bent, but I ended up trimming them back. It is also possible that I was supposed to do this anyway, but there weren't any notes in the box. Are these cut too long, or is my radiator support bent just enough to make this an issue?
Either way it didn't matter much, it took all of five minutes to trim them back enough for the lights to fit.
So, thanks Paul for marketing a quality piece, the front end looks perfectly straight, and all the seams match up as good as new.
