Request for next year...

Would it be possible to get / make club name tags? I'm reading all these posts about everybody's reunion experiences and I still don't know who they are... I know I was there... I know I introduced myself to a boat load of people... but still can't connect faces to names... Kinda pi**es me off cause I really wanted to meet everybody. Also would help me out after a few beers since my memory ain't that great for names... Possibly a name / nick name kinda thing ( Gator G. Gator for instance ).

It was already discussed Sunday night by the Directors. We had done it at past events, just one of those things that got overlooked this time.

Cool thing about knowing Gator G. Gator's REAL NAME? You can charge stuff to his room.

Cool, I was thinking along the lines of a hard plastic kind with the "stick yourself in the chest" pin molded into the back with the club logo printed next to the name(s)? Hey Gator what the h**l is your real name anyway?

Seriously, I'm all about the nametags! I am in sales and still don't know most of the names of the people I spoke with. Let's see Oh Yea! He drives the blue car ... -or- "Whats your screen name"?

Remembering several types of identity for the same person can get confusing!

Bud, if your interested, I may be able to get us setup with these custom tags through work!

Actually, the thought was to do stick-on name tags --

and I had even considered putting avatars on them too..

It's in our list for next year, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm contimplating the road trip from hell or to fly out and help someone shuttle their cars to the event. So far I've been unsuccessful in convincing my buddy with a car carrier that he needs to take a two week trip with me back there. One way or another, I'll figure some way to raise the bar (or would that be "raze the bar"?) at next year's gathering.

Yes, those 6 cars are all Mercury Marauders that he delivered for Roush. Boy oh boy was I drooling when he sent me those pics. Just imagine what 6 SVO's would look like perched on that rig!

How about a club banner somewhere at the events. Maybe even one out near the road advertising the show/shine to draw more folks.

I'm all for name tags of some sort as well. Can't tell ya how many times I asked the same person their name.
