  • Great Time in KY

Boy that don't sound right (great time in ky)... came down from hoosier land with Dave and Rick. Had a really good time. the advise of Dave was to drive up in the crowd at the hotel and park where everyone was and open up the hood and scratch my head and i'll get attention. It worked... Thanks for all the advise on the missin out at 3000 rpm...and I think i put those sweet blue caps back on my bolt heads just like Steve P. had there to begin with...never will forget Gator asking Just WHO did i get the car from and when i said Steve P.... He high fived another member and SAID..... I TOLD YA !!!!!!!... hopefully the car will get a history with my name behind it now.... maybe i need to get an SVO reunion Outfit going ... maybe a plaid hat with combat boots and a riding whip.. or something like that...... I think i repaint the svo in metalic green with big wagon wheels with chrome stripes... with rain gutters with 2.3 badges on them so EVERYONE will know its a piece of kentucky hotrod **** and go show off at a 5.0 reunion somewhere.... can't wait to come back next year...

Actually, that was Bud that made the call on that one...I was the one that thanked you for putting the stock wheels back on her.

In anycase, I'm glad to hear that you got rid of the ONE platnium plug in there.

Look forward to seeing you and her next year !

maybe ill show up with 1 and 3 using platinum and 2 and 4 with mr goodwrench plugs next year.......i'll be the first to admit that i will be a purist when it comes to this car (original rims). This is My first jab at having a unique mustang.. my Brother is even envious even when he has a 68 Shelby GT350 Conv. and an 88 lx 5.0 t-top... took him for a 55 mph ride around a clover leaf and stoped on a dime... he was impressed... but anyways...... THANKS to all who put on the show.. i WILL be back next year.... who knows.. maybe even have it up in Indy sometime... go out to putnum park raceway, or even Indiapolis Raceway Park.. and ohh yeah i forgot.. maybe even the Track !.....of course i dont know if the SVO crowd could handle a 2 1/2 mile oval.....

I think it was Bud who said
"it looks like someone threw a handfull of skittles under the hood"

refering to the blue bolt caps
