Has anyone else ever put an after market steering wheel in their car? If so, what kind?

Another solution to the steering wheel dilemma is to use an 84-85 GT steering wheel. It is the same shape as the SVO wheel, only covered in vinyl instead of leather. It is a direct bolt-on. The GT wheel looks almost identical to the SVO wheel at a much more affordable price on evilbay or at your local yard.Last edited by Eyelawdoc; 10-19-2003, 12:42 AM.

Anyone know the guy who has the recovered wheels, knobs & shifter boots on ebay? He even embosses ther hurst emblem, and shift pattern on them. I'm seriously considering buying from him, but wasn't sure of the quality for the money... It's easy to make anything look good in a digi. pic.If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

Pat in LA has bought a steering wheel and a shift knob from him. I've seen the shift knob and it looks good!
According to Pat, "Firsthero is Bob Tweedy ( firsthero@sofast.net) in Montana. He has 2 show car SVO's, is an MCA Judge and a retired postal worker."
I'm also thinking of buying a steering wheel and shift knob from him. The ones on my 84 are hurting.Last edited by Eyelawdoc; 10-20-2003, 02:33 AM.
