Are the lower control arms a mirror image of themselves
or are they unique on each side

    Rob,

Let me see if I can confuse you...they are mirror images of each other, but cannot be swapped from one side to the other (i.e.- they are asymetrical, not symetrical). Clearer or more confused??

Lower Control Arms are for Right and Left

In other words the lower control arms are just like your ears, mirror images of one another but not interchangable left for right.

That is exactly what I thought

not interchangeable from side to side but they are a mirror image of themselves

            Thanks... I understand

I am looking to make some and have an ad in the parts wanted
area for some used ones that are not useable
and didn't know if I needed both or if I could just use one
            and use its reflection

            Thanks for the wisdom guys

You and RodneyH should get together. Last I heard he was also looking for a set to give to Fat Man Fabrications in North Carolina, so they could make tubular replacements.

I have read about him trying to get fat man to make some arms

I am intrested in making some of my own
I can make all the jigs and fixtures
and just want to see if I am up to the challenge

                  Control arms!

I have one that you can use for your program! Just cut me a deal on when you make them? i think it is the passenger side? Also the spindle too! I sent the other one to Chris Roth's Flunky machine shop dude dave! Let me Know and will work it out? I sent your CD out today and will get in a few. it was nice to have meet you at the reunion. Jeff that would be great tell me what shipping will cost to my address and I will gladly re-imburse you for your trouble

I should not need it for too long just to set up some tools
then I can get it back to you fast

I read what happened to you. I will get it back!

Thanks for sending out that CD. It was great meeting you and everyone else, it sure seems like a great group of people
                    belong to this club.

As for these arms I think it will be a challenge and if I can
get it done I will make you a set for nothing
(or for material cost if I go with some exotic metal? don't know yet)

                    Thanks Jeff
