  • Dyno Day

Guys. I really had a good time last year when we did the dyno day at Trussville. I know that a lot of guys have made changes to their car that would effect the rhp numbers and we know that winter is approaching. I know that there are a couple of track days left in the year, but shortly there will be no functions left during the winter.

Brilliant idea, let's have another dyno day and maybe we could get a pool togther between the guys and have an incentive for the guy with the most hp and a goof ball prize for the guy with the least. I have talked with Ryan about this subject and he has confirmed that the guys at Trussville would be open to another day at a heck of a good price.

O.K. how about some input....... Ralph... I will even sponsor the beer afterwards.... It don't take any skill to run the car hard at the dyno, so maybe some of us other guys won't get our butts kicked by the fast four. let's deal.........

I figured we would put something together around Jan/Feb. The air will be perfect for Turbos .. and everyone will be bored out of their minds

That way it won't conflict with the remaining Track events for the year - Thanksgiving/Christmas .. and by Feb, everyone will have so much cabin fever that they'll be itching to try out all their winter goodies.

Eric, your strut brace will have the extra bracket for mounting the electronic turbo as seen on EBAY . That alone will be enough to melt down the dyno. The strut brace also is a great supplemental location to chain down the car so that it doesn't launch itself into orbit. The strut brace is also proven to to be a theft deterrant if properly used with chains, as well as a known FDA substitute for botox and rogaine.

I looked for like 2 weeks, and couldn't find anyone even remotely local.

                        Mobile Dyno in Louisville

Hey Eric- If we're planning to do the Reunion in KY again, there
are two Mustang restorers (Nick & Steve) in Louisville that have a mobile dyno. The Derby City Mustang Club speaks highly of them.
If we're really serious, I can ask them. Let me know.

Least HP? Don't bet on it! Mine is zero, pretty hard to beat that!
