i received a phone call this morning from a friend of mine from idaho. he contacted JOE LEONARD of JC PERFORMANCE was informed that he has discontinued his modification of the SVO front lower control arms. the reason was that there was not enough call for them. not wishing to be a harbinger of bad info but i think i read somewhere that there was a question of the strength/safety of the modified arms due to the amt of material that had to be removed. the fact that they are no longer being modified maybe someone should contact their favorite machinest and see if we can get them done again. just a thought.

Bob I am looking at making a new arm that will fit
with a replaceable ball joint from the mark VII

as for machining.... I know of the concerns people are having
with remaining material / or strength if you build up the area with weld.
I am going to try to make it with extra material around the bored hole for the ball joint.
someone is sending me (maybe) an arm to look at /measure
if it is not hard to do I will machine anyones arm if they choose to go that route
