I've got a leaky tranny....
I origionally thought it was coming from the tail shaft seal but after further investigation It appears to be leaking from the gasket where the tail shaft section bolts to the main part of the tranny. I see some red RTV on the outside of the seam where the previous owner tried to "fix" it. I like to do things the right way and would like to fix it properly.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how hard was it to fix? I'm worried about piles of gears falling out when I seperate the 2 parts.
