        um .... $50 ?? That's a pure guess on my part as to what a shop would charge. I did mine myself. Takes about an hour to remove the old one, clean the headliner board, spray the glue, apply the material, and re-install.

        What I did was .. removed mine, took the headliner board to the Uph shop, THEY cleaned the board, spray the glue, and applied the material .. and I took it home and re-installed it. It cost me $25 for their part.

            Are the SVO liners the same as GT's and such or are they different colors?

              It depends on the year. 84 had vinyl. Sometime later it was cloth. I think the cloth is the same but I don't know if others all had vinyl.

                  Unsure when/if the change happened in the 84 year, but 85-86 were as so....

                  Non-sunroof=cloth
                  Sunroof=vinyl

                  If you're replacing a headliner that was originally vinyl, I recommend you use a clothe material. They tend to hold up and last longer.

                  Doesn't really matter if you match the color as long as it's gray - no one ever looks or compares them. I put a cloth liner in when I restored the Hertz car ... and it was a sunroof car ... no one ever noticed it ... even at the MCA National events in Concours.
