  • Removing Paint from Moldings

I had a rear bumper redo a while back and the idiots painted the large rubber left and right moldings gray. They were always unpainted rubber up until that day. And the paint is bubbling and flaking off in tiny places.
I may have asked this way back when I first got here but I'll ask one more time. What might I use to get the paint off without hurting the rubber?

I know break fluid takes paint off. But I'd be careful not to get it on the paint you don't want removed. Just an idea.

Yes, I got the injectors in a very timely manner, thank you and I hope you are happy with the check.

SEM is a major body shop chemicals supplier. They make items to repair or chemically weld torn urethane bumper skins as well.

Part # 39913 says on the label:"NOT DESIGNED TO REMOVE OEM BAKED FINISHES - STRIPS ALL REFINISH MATERIAL OFF MOST BUMPERS".

SEM products are awesome... go to their website and they will show you the closest dealer to you of their product. SEM interior paint called "charcoal" is a dead ringer for the old ford dye to restore your interior parts as well......I've been saying this for the last year .....don't know if anyone remembers that
