Yes, Eyelawdoc and I dip SVO's in baptismal holy waters and the brethren in unison shout out " HEAL "

You guys have absolutely no idea what NY eric can do when it comes to being a prime mover for SVO interests. If you need a hint, just watch the Blues Brothers movie and think of him when John Belushi says " We're on a mission from GOD!!!"

                    (or was it Dan Aykroyd?)

                      Help with Car

                      Dear kenny,
It maybe a good time (holidays and COLD here) to post a FULL
thread on your car, specifics and condition!

It is possible to NET answer repair items AS MOST of us have all been thru this with SVO's at least once!

YOU have to take the time to info us!!

                      A) What car are we talking about-be specific in year and overall condition as you bought it/as you have worked on it

                      B) IF it ran/why it doesn't run and what you have done to make it/not make it run lately

Now if you bought a car with the "top end" in the trunk and your
your missing half the bolts-that is different! It still can be done,
but my guess is your in school and daily trips to the garage
(plus the continuing cost of parts) may not be in your best interest this week!

Let us know where you ned help! There are many "Friends" in the area and BE PREPARD TO SPEND A DIME on phone calls!
It is alot easier to "talk" someone through setting up a timing belt that to delay for post times!

                      Good luck/Merry Christmas

P.S. Close enough to drive down-but not while they are shooting in OH!

                          " We're on a mission from GOD!!!"

Naw I just like to spread svo parts to the far corners of the earth to help out others. I want to keep the breed alive. Pluss I like the free stuff that comes along with striping cars. (nice AC compressor Xanathrou)

so far ive had it running, but i didnt drive it. i got the adapter into the back of the exhaust manifold for the egr pipe from byteme. so i have the car kind of apart right now. im trying to put on the oil drain pipe from the turbo, it is on right now loosely, but i have to get the gasket in there. its just a very tight fit for my hands. the car is still not starting from the ignition key. im still using a screwdriver at the solenoid. i was hoping to get it running, make sure its reliable, and drive to campus to take out the dash and find where the wire is broken or pulled out or whatever. i bought the car with the engine completly in pieces. i was missing a few things, and had a couple of extra parts from t-birds that i tried to use to get the car running. so its kindof rigged up a little. ill get to work on it again sunday, and hopefully get it started, drive it, get gas, change the oil, stuff like that.

Guess I has "on track" -well you have done well to get this far!

It may help calling to "mirror" and engine IF YOU STILL HAVE things unhooked. (OR HAVE A SVO STOP BY TO VIEW)

The 10 mm bolts go on the oil return line with a couple extentions and a swivel from under the car. (I'm guessing again it's cold on your back!)

Let us know if you are "hot wiring" power to the coil-or just placing the key on and bumping the selenoid.
Because you may want to drop the covers off the stearing column and see if the wire pulg is even INTO the back of the key cylinder!
