You have probably seen this advertised to death on TV--especially on Speed. I got one for Christmas and tried it out yesterday on my Audi (60 degrees in Columbus OH in December is a little odd).
The car was very dirty to start with, covered with road salt, dirt, etc. The system suggests rinsing the car first (duh), and then soaping and rinsing by section (duh, again). Anyway, the soap is the trick here. It works very well when worked on with a big sponge. The final rinse uses filtered water and it beads up and dances right off. The car dried with no spots in about 30 minutes. Works as advertised.
One cautionary note: the stater kit has one filter (good for three uses) and one small bottle of soap--of which I used half. I am guessing a new filter and refill bottle of soap will not be cheap. Also, the kit was purchased in a local grocery store for $19. The TV offer is $29.
