    1) Take off the intercooler and all the Intercooler hoses.
    2) Get some brake cleaner and clean them thouroghly, spray em down and wipe them off with a rag.
    3) Take a rag, spray some brake cleaner on the rag and then wipe down all the metal that the hoses attach to ( as in the T-Body, the housing of the turbo and the intercooler.
    4) Take some hair-spray and mist it onto the Intercooler piping...wait a minute till it gets tacky and install everything.

NOTE: Make sure to inspect the intercooler hoses for rips, tears etc. Spend a couple bucks and replace the hose clamps as well if your not running the original hoses. Make sure ( if your running the stock IC, that all the brackets are firmly bolted down.

Rick, I can hook you up with some part numbers for some very strong hose clamps. I got them at the International Dealer across town, but you might be able to get them thru work... I'll try to find them.
If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

Or go to Napa and ask them for some T-Bolt hose clamps ( but you will need the measurements of the out-side diameter of the hoses ) ....cheapest place I have seen for over the counter

NAPA is a autoparts chain --usually staffed with a little better people than you will find at the normal chains.

                        IC hoses

Speaking of IC hoses, what can be used to replace the old hoses? I was using the TC hoses but the Ford dealer next door to me says they aren't available anymore. Someone suggested plumbing FERNCO's, any ideas? Mark
