So prior to me disconnecting the FMIC and going through my high idle problem, I try and start the car (hopeing the high idle problem solved it self), but the car wont start. Just cranks over.
So then I start checking the wiring, coil, plug wires and such. Everything seems fine. But the car just cranks over without even sounding like its trying to start.
I notice the amp light is not coming on when I turn the key on. I verify with my daily driver that it should come on in the run position. So I poke around some more.
I find that I had disconnected the voltage regulator harness. I connect it back up (my amp light comes on now) but it still doesn't start.
I checked that I'm getting fuel pressure, I pulled the coil wire off the distributer and it's sparking.
Not being the most mechanically inclined (sp?) person, I'm stuck...
Any of you SoCal SVOers wanna come help me out? Beer and BBQ offered as payment
