I'd bet my paycheck SN95 V6 & V8 LCA's are the same lenght.
On edit:
just as LCA's were the same for 2.3's and 5.0's for the 87-93 period. I searched corner-carvers for a good period of time and could not find a defintive answer. I will Paypal the equivalent of a six pack (of your choice, limited to a $10 value) if you can prove me wrong factually with quantative data.

This should answer your brake questions:

I asked the same thing a few months ago and the answer I got was that they were the same. The reason I asked is because junkyards list them as either 6 cyl. or GT. I was told they do this to get more money for the GT ones. As far as the brakes go they are the same except for the Cobras and I think later ones had twin piston calipers.Rick

I was giving wrong info.I just came back from the junkyard. A buddy of mine owns it and I asked him about this. He said they are different. The GT ones are heavier because of thicker gauge metal for the V8. Other than that they are the same. If you guys want I can see if he has a scale and will measure the weight difference. I personally am going to use the V6 ones to save a little weight.Rick
