  • Combo question

    I've been trying to search for combinations to get to 250hp.

    What should I run a search for?

    My current plans are(I have a 85 SVO):
    Ported E6,
    gutted upper and ported lower intakes,
    bigger TB (not that I need it, but I have one sitting around),
    3in down pipe and exhaust,
    La3
    browntops
    bigger vam
    either custom FMIC, or just run the TC IC I have on there now.
    stock T3
    255lph pump
    afpr
    gillis valve

    I have all of these parts, almost ready to go on? How close do you think this will bring me. Any suggestions would be great. Like fuel pressure, ect....

    Bigger VAM? All SVOs come with the bigger VAM.

    250hp at the crank or wheels? You might think about some big valves and a cam. Make sure the car is in tune - ie: plugs, wires, etc. Make sure the injectors are good - free flowing - not junked up 20 yr used ones.

    Fuel pressure, timing, and boost levels are some things you'll need to fine tune out on a dyno. Start off with about 42lbs of FP, 18 psi of boost, 10* of timing .. work your way up from there. Using a stock T3 will require higher boost levels to get respectable numbers.
