Anyone have problems with their lifters after sitting for a few months. My car has been apart for 4 months while I put the new header on. Now that all the exaust leaks are fixed i now hear a clicking noise from the valve cover. I havent pulled it yet (this weekends project ) I dont remember this noise before but i couldnt hear much over the cracked ATR.

FYI I am running the A237 cam, Melling lifters, Melling followers, Springs from Tiny avenger, SI Oversised Valves. The head has about 1K on it since Powereheads put it together. Bill told me to inspect for problems then run it for a few hrs and listen again to see if one of the lifters needed to refil with oil( huh?)

Did you do the 'hose in the ear' thing to 'narrow' it down as to location? Like a stethescope (sp?).....
BTW.....Where did your ATR crack? Pics?.....Mine still okay....
