Just installed a new clutch/pressure plate/throw out bearing kit from Starr Clutch in Birmingham......
I was replacing a Center Force II kit I had installed several years ago, the Center Force kit has ALWAYS had a ton of pedal pressure...so much that it really was a pain to drive it on the street.
I called Paul at SVPU and ask him which kit from Starr would be the best application for my use. He reccomended the stage II (SF722) for me. Starr shipped the kit very fast and with the SVOCA member discount was very reasonably priced.
Got the SVO back Friday afternoon and BOY what a difference....great pedal pressure and smooth operation too. I can't wait to get some miles on it so we can start going FASSSTTTTEEEEERRRRR!!!!
I'll give the Starr Clutch products a big thumbs at this point..I'll update after we get some miles on the car.
