94 control arm swap

I finally did the 94 control arm swap ,with the griggs adapters everything went great. I put new ball joints in and poly bushings.But when i let the car down the car , it had at leats 3-3 1/2 inches of wheel well clearance, thats about an inch higher than before with the stock springs Will I have to use 94 and up springs to get the car lowered or will i be able to use 79-93 fox springs. I noticed the the spring seat looks not as deep in the 94 arms verses the svo arms.
