I have a 1985 sunroof car and I am looking for original material to replace the headliner

Good luck. I doubt you'll find it. You can check with a local trim/uph shop as they should have a close match. I very serious doubt you'll be able to tell the difference once it's installed in the car.

I have a spot in the back starting to come loose, so I took my sunroof car by a good local upholstry shop about 2 months ago. I was told no dice on original fabric.

As long as you can get it to match the sunvisors there is no noticable difference. I had mine redone several years ago and it still looks great.

I went to my local fabric shop and found a match that was almost perfect and we did it ourselves. I too have a sunroof car which is a little tougher to do then hubby's non sunroof svo.

If you know of anyone having a dark gray vinyl for the headliners please let me know. That is holding me up on some restorations. thanks Kendal

According to their web site Motion Dynamics has it available. I don't know anything about the quality. I was thinking about getting it.

They do not have the vinyl one, just got e-mail back form Jim. They do have a gray one.
