Door and fender moldings?

Hey guys,

I have it now but I have to remove it from my old rusted out doors but my question is this, Will it go back on? If not do they make a suitable replacement? I know it wont be 110% but just look close to original will do just fine for me. I've looked around on the net and can't find anything really close,all I run accross is 3 inch wide moldings.

Re-Use the old door moldings. There's nothing (really) out there that's a close match so use it if you have all 6 pieces.

Once you remove it, peel off the thin alum backing and throw that part away. Use a 3M double sided tape to re-attach it. You can paint it back gray or use a good vinyl dye .. either will give excellent results .. and the moldings will look like new. Just make sure you clean/prep the moldings before paint or dye is applied.

I've heard it shrinks when its removed? Not alot but enough to be noticable? Is this something to be worried about or not?
