Boost Gauge

I am installing a new boost gauge & was wondering if it is ok to hook up the gauge to the stock hose or should I install the line that came with the gauge? It is a autometer 2616.

I really don't think it matters as long as the hose doesn't leak. Do whatever is easiest for you. Since the stock hose is already under the dash, I would use that one.

If you are putting the Autometer gauge on a pillar pod use a vacuum T to tie in to the stock vacuum hose, so you can run both the stock gauge and the Autometer. If you ae replacing the stocker with the Autometer, just tie it in with the stock hose.

Thanks for the info. I just was not sure with the stock gauge not functioning properly if the hose had any thing to do with it or if there was a more accurate location to install the hose. Thanks
