Heater hoses

So the lines that go into the firewall for the heater and back out...can I just bypass those for my race car or should I keep them "plumbed"?

You can bypass them.

If you're getting rid of the heater core - or have no need for it what so ever - then yank it and bypass.

Vince, on the RRAX mailing list the other week one of the members listed a U-shaped hose for bypassing the heater core. It was an off the shelf Napa piece, #4354 and cost him $3.79. Here is the link to the message, that has a link to his website where he has a picture of the hose:

Granted it was for a 5.cough liter Mustang, but it looked like it might work for our cars as well.

Are all of the heater and cooling hoses available still?? I need the two that go into the heater core and would like to replace the others....If they are still available does someone know the part numbers? Thanks
