Anyone have any experience with the headlight and inner marker sets that the Blue Oval guys are selling on Evilbay? They don't look OEM for sure with the chrome finish on the buckets but they have the Ford part numbers and molding marks in them according to their listing. Any ideas about these parts? I suspect they are repro but would like to know for sure.
Yes they're repo and you can get the same ones here for MUCH cheaper through Paul at SVPU. Become a member and you will save more than the difference in your membership fee. There are also several other "members only" deals.
At the Nashville show they had 6 NOS lights (all the same) but I don't recall which side of the outers they had. Price was not too bad either. Complete with the Ford boxes. I don't recall what else they sell.
I should have added that the repos are being made from the original Ford tooling. I have both NOS and repos and the chrome bleed over to the buckets on the repos and the lack of a Ford box are the only obvious differences. With the hood closed you can't tell the difference between them.
