I would like to know as well.
I took mine off way back when (probably the wrong way) to repaint, and jammed em back in. Is it involved?

Take the back seat out, lower portion only, remove the small inspection cover. Squeeze your hand in with a 1/4 drive and a 5/16 or 13/32 socket (I forget which) with a short extention. remove the two nuts. Take all of the phillips screws out from the outside. Also you have to remove the moulding under the door. There is another screw behind it. Hope this helps.

Yep, I think you can slide it forward without taking it completely off enough to get the screw out.
