Anyone ever hear of an SVO with factory T-Tops installed?? I met a guy who has an SVO with T-Tops like mine, but he instists his were from the factory.... I told him "maybe they were dealer installed, but there not "Factory" equipped." I've searched and have been unable to come up with anything helpful. Any ideas?

Apparently I didn't search enough... so sorry. My first SVO is an 86 T Top car.... there is a sticker placed in the center console from a company called SFS they have (or had at the time) shops in Daly City, Lafayette, Hayward, and Santa Clara. The sticker also lists the kit no., invoice number, vin number, and mileage of car. The 999 report doesn't say anything about T Tops or sunroof. Now to find out if SFS was ever used by Ford for T Top installations.'86 1C SVO - Produced 8/29/1985

The t tops on your 86 were probably done at the SFS shop for a local Ford dealer or an early owner of the car.
Ford used Cars & Concepts for all of its factory t top work. C & C also did all of the 83 & 84 Fox Mustang convertible conversions from coupe cars for Ford. It was possible to purchase the t top kit from C & C and install it elsewhere. Perhaps that is what SFS was doing.Last edited by Eyelawdoc; 08-28-2004, 09:03 PM.
