seat recover?

has anybody used a leather kit(eg classics) on cloth seats? i guess it wouldnt be a problem. if not... what do think is a good price for recovering the cloth from a good interior shop?

I recovered one of my previous SVOs with an E&G kit on a set of old worn out cloth seats. As with any 20 yr old seat ... some extra foam will be needed. Any local trim shop can do the install for a minimal price.

Not sure what you're asking as for price. The price of having the cloth seats recovered in cloth or having them do the leather kit install? The cloth material is no longer available. There are some fabrics that are close - but not an exact match. Having a custom set of covers made for your seat would probably come out being as much as the leather kit. As for having them install the E&G leather kit - I think I paid $100 to have mine done. I took them the seats ... they removed the old covers, added some padding, and installed the new leather kit. Took a day or two.
