  • Red Hot Header

I come home from work tonight pulled into my gargage and smelt something burning. I popped open the hood and immediatlet saw that the header on my SVO was red hot... What could cause this? It has never done that before.

Mine did this when the hose between the pickup, and the fuelpump came loose.

IOW: Low fuel pressure is another reason this will happen

I just got the car out of the shop a few days ago. Then yesterday I noticed that the o2 sensor was disconnected, I connected it yesterday and after that the car did seem to slightly less low end power. What is the correct timing , so I can check it?

            Check cat

I know this is starting to sound like my catch all answer to every SVO problem, but when my cat plugged, the car was way down on power and the manifold was cherry red. The O2 sensor disconnected is also probably an issue.
