Fiber Glass

Does anyone know of a vender that carries "STOCK" appearing front fenders for our beloved SVO's.

I'd also like to pick up a 'bolt on' fiber glass hatch on the cheap if possible...$360 from Late model resto is a little hard to swallow.

I've seen the Meier Racing pieces and while they are a fine looking product I would prefer to keep my ride looking as stock as possible.

Any ideas, comments, or suggestions are more than welcome.

Yeah, I've been to their web site a few times, but have never seen fenders...

I don't want to go with the big flared ones either...wanna look stock if possible.

Ideas?

They used to have the fenders on the site. I just looked and couldn't find them. You might give them a call to see if they make them.

They don't make them anymore...

When I asked about repro's of the Ford Motorsport ones...that are flared with a boxy profile...sort of like Capri fenders on steroids...they didn't know what I was talking about.

I've found another place online that has lots of old molds...aparently they buy molds from other manufacturers and make obsolete fiberglass products. I'm awaiting info regarding the Motorsport pieces from them as well as mier racing...

I will keep the community posted on what I find, if anyone cares.

I understand what you are saying but the rub strips which are molded into the fenders (87-93 style) don't match the style of rub strips (79-84) on the bumpers of the svo.

In the photos the detail can be hard to see.

Stang87, I may have a place in NY that sells them...they have a lot of obsolete molds...I'm keeping my fingers crossed while waiting for photos of the fenders they make.

I will be letting everyone know as soon as I do.
