  • Should I bring anything?

I'm loading up tonight to roll tomorrow with Dana and before I pack the truck, want to know if anyone wants me to bring any NOS alternators, starters, O2 sensors, wiper motors, voltage regulators, TFIs, TBs, VAMS, etc. I'm not sure what to haul and want to try and travel light since I'm bringing a lot of tools for the classes.

Also, should I bring my small wheeled air compressor and impacts? I'm bringing jack stands and a floor jack, unless that stuff will already be there.

    Bueller..Bueller...anyone....????

Boy, the Reunion must be coming up...traffic on this site is way off..

sunscreen and a umbrella, or pop-up canopy can be handy if it rains.

As far as tools, I think everyone loads up!

      Paul,
I'm good for an alternator, wiper motor, and that thing on the side of the distributor. Throw in a voltage regulator too!
Do you take plastic on the road?

        Yup..

Chris, Great...I hadn't forgot about you. I'll be seeing you in Md as soon as tomorrow and can't wait to see your car. On the CC front, I can call my bro back at the shop and take care of it. In fact, if we have internet access at the hotel, I can do it from there.

Kiwi, I have your ign switch.

I'll also be bringing some goodies from my stash and stuff I've been collecting. I have an NOS big VAM from 87-88 T/C, in the box. It's a beauty. While the p/n is T-Bird only (SVO used an E4ZZ number), it's still correct, I think. Anyone interested? I know A1 Cardone sells remanned ones for $139/$50 core, but this is FoMoCo NOS. Any thoughts? Should I bring it?

                Bring plenty of Guinness.

This is NOT Pat_in_L.A. posting as GAboySVO.

                (OK, so it is!)

Hey, throw in a "good" TB as I could use a new one. My throttle plate shaft has too much play in it. I hate having to tap my throttle to get it to come down to low idle most of the time. Thanx.
